Welcome to the tiny leaf co! I am so glad you’re here! My name is Tammy. I was born and raised in Madison, Nebraska where I also have had the joy of raising my family with my wonderful husband. I have a passion for not only gardening, but also creating in the kitchen. The tiny leaf co was born after I used these greens to heal my own body. The tiny leaf co is a sustainable, indoor farming operation. Sustainability efforts include water conservation, spent trays being fed to my chickens, resulting in compost.
My Story: I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder and within 6 months, two more were added to the list. I began to research natural ways to heal my body. I tried eating healthier and stress reduction methods like meditation and daily nature therapy including gardening. These methods helped, but I still was not feeling my best. In 2021, my daughter shared a video with me, teaching me how to sprout seeds in jars, and explaining the numerous benefits that come from eating sprouts. Knowing that food is medicine, I started my research. Only to find that microgreens are equally as amazing and nutrient packed! I ordered my supplies and got busy growing. In just two months of eating microgreens daily, I was looking and feeling better. After eight months, two of the autoimmune disorders were in remission, and I no longer needed to take the medication. I have made it not only my mission, but the mission of my business to make microgreens more accessible to my community, and to anyone investing in their health and healing. I am so thankful to be a part of your journey to a happy and healthy life!
